Match Preview
An exciting final two rounds of matches in the UEFA Nations League are set for this week. Spain have already secured a berth in the quarterfinals for next year, but they could secure top spot in Group A4 with a victory in Denmark on Friday.
The reigning EURO 2024 champions have picked up from where they left off in the summer during the competition, winning three of their four matches in the group stage.
That includes a 1-0 win over Denmark when the sides collided last month. However, Spain did suffer their only setback on the road after playing out a 0-0 draw against Serbia on matchday one.

Denmark still have something to play for in the final two matchdays, as they can still drop into the relegation playoffs, as well as still have the opportunity to qualify for a place in the quarterfinals.
The Danes have won two of their four matches in Group A4, with their only defeat being suffered in Spain. At home, Denmark have been very strong, beating Serbia and Switzerland in convincing fashion.
Denmark’s head-to-head record against Spain raises huge questions ahead of this showdown, as they have lost each of the last five since 2004, and have gone eight without a win since their success in March 1993.
Denmark vs. Spain Picks
Spain have an excellent record against Denmark, and have impressed throughout the Nations League this year. Therefore, an away victory is incredibly challenging to overlook this Friday.
