Two of the quickest starters in the Premier League this term continue their campaign at the Emirates on Saturday, as Arsenal and Brighton will be aiming to maintain their 100% record. The Gunners will be bidding to maintain their perfect start after scoring four goals without conceding across their opening two fixtures this term.
Mikel Arteta’s side were professional on their previous outing in the competition after registering a 2-0 win at Aston Villa last Saturday. Leandro Trossard opened the scoring, before the victory was secured following Thomas Partay’s effort in the final 20 minutes. The victory also means that the Gunners have opened the season with two straight wins while keeping clean sheets for the third time in their history.

Brighton currently sits a place a higher than the Gunners in the league standings, courtesy of their superior goal difference. The Seagulls have netted five times in their opening two matches, with their most recent success coming in dramatic fashion against Man United on Saturday. Joao Pedro scored the winning goal in that fixture in the fifth minute of second half injury time.
Arsenal recorded a league double over the Seagulls last season, which included a 2-0 success at the Emirates in December 2023. However, Brighton have won on two of their last three trips to North London, which included a mesmeric 3-0 success to end Arsenal’s title hopes in May 2023.
