Game Preview
Going into halftime against Crystal Palace, Leeds fans could be forgiven for being in a buoyant mood. With the scoreline level at 1-1 and the Yorkshire side dominating nobody could have predicted the second half which followed. The Eagles scored 4 goals without reply and the Leeds players looked sluggish in all areas of the field. Javi Gracia will have been furious by that display and hopeful his side will show more resilience against Liverpool next time out.

Liverpool staged an excellent comeback against Arsenal on Sunday. Trailing by two goals after 30 minutes, Salah pulled Liverpool back into the game with a strike just before halftime. Despite the Egyptian missing a penalty in the second half, Liverpool got the equalizer they deserved through Roberto Firmino after 87 minutes and could have won the game in the dying stages but for fine work from Aaron Ramsdale in the Arsenal goal. Jurgen Klopp will be delighted that Luis Diaz has recovered from his long-term injury and could feature against Leeds on Monday.
Prediction
Liverpool has been poor this season, but Leeds is hapless at the moment and it seems hard to envisage the Yorkshire side winning here. Liverpool needs the three points, and they should get them.
