Match Preview
Mauricio Pochettino’s ideas are finally coming across at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea’s results have improved following a slow start to the season. The Blues come into the weekend having gone three without defeat, and a victory this weekend could edge them closer toward the Champions League spots in the standings.
However, the Blues have struggled in recent London derbies, as they have picked up just two victories from their last 12. But, one of those wins did come last month, as they landed a victory on the road against Fulham. Chelsea will need to bounce back after throwing away a 2-0 lead against Arsenal before drawing last weekend.

Brentford finally got back on track in the Premier League last weekend, as they recorded a comfortable home success against Burnley. That was only the team’s second win of the season. However, they could be slightly overpriced to get a result this weekend, as they are unbeaten in their last 12 London derbies.
Their away record in derbies has been excellent over recent months, as they have picked up victories in each of their last three. The Bees will also take confidence from the fact that they have won each of their previous two matches at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea vs Brentford Prediction
I’m not interested in taking Chelsea at odds-on this weekend. The Bees have been excellent in recent London derbies, and they looked back to their best last weekend. Therefore, a chance could be taken on the draw on Saturday.
