Game Preview

We have seen a 0-3 comeback before, but let’s be honest, it’s rare. Liverpool has done it a couple of times, as has Deportivo and several other teams, and LASK hopes to join that list after Tuesday’s clash vs. Celtic.

The Austrians didn’t play this weekend, keeping themselves ready and fit for this matchup. They played two home games in the domestic championship this season, winning both by the needed margin: 4-1 vs. Ried and 3-0 vs. Grazer.

Celtic postponed its game this weekend too. The Hoops are in an excellent position, having a three-goal lead, yet they can’t underestimate the hosts. Martin O’Neill knows that, and he for sure won’t let that happen.

From what we saw in the first matchup, the Celts were far better, but we also have to add that their road performances in Europe weren’t that confident.

LASK vs. Celtic Head to Head

Celtic smashed LASK 3-0 in Glasgow. Camilo Duran netted a brace, while Benjamin Nygren added one goal.

LASK vs. Celtic Predictions

Since the hosts have to attack from the start, we expect high efficiency. Both teams are offensively oriented, so over 2.5 goals is our pick.
