Andy Murray vs Stefanos Tsitsipas

Stefanos Tsitsipas |
The final match on Centre Court on Day 4 will see Andy Murray collide with Stefanos Tsitsipas. Murray admitted before the tournament that he feels better coming into this year’s tournament than he has since winning Wimbledon for a second time in 2016. The Brit looked excellent in the opening round, as he made quick work of Ryan Peniston, claiming victory in straight sets.
He will certainly have an advantage over fifth-seed Tsitsipas on Thursday, as the Greek star only booked his spot in the second round on Wednesday. Tsitsipas was taken the distance in a thriller against Dominic Thiem, and it will be interesting to see whether there are any lingering fitness issues. However, we will be siding with the Greek to overcome this challenge, and we are amazed that he is odds-against based on his Grand Slam showings over the last 12 months.

Adrian Mannarino vs Daniil Medvedev

Adrian Mannarino | |
Daniil Medvedev |
Daniil Medvedev will be back in action just 24 hours after his first round win. The Russian was banned from Wimbledon last year, but the four-time Grand Slam finalist is rediscovering his best form. He overcame a sticky test in the opening round, managing to beat Arthur Fery in straight sets. His serving in that tie was excellent, as he smashed down seven aces.
Adrian Mannarino has been well-supported in the betting, and he looked extremely at home on the grass in the opening round, as he beat Alexander Shevchenko in straight sets. He smashed down nine aces, and won 76% of the points on his first serve. However, we find it challenging to overlook the third-seed winning in straight sets.
Free Pick:
Elise Mertens vs Elina Svitolina

Elise Mertens | |
Elina Svitolina |
One of the most interesting ties in the second round of the women’s draw will see Elise Mertens and Elina Svitolina collide. Svitolina has been in excellent form since returning to action after giving birth, and she didn’t break a sweat in the opening round when seeing off Venus Williams. The 28-year-old previously reached the last four at Wimbledon, and she could be on course for another strong run.
However, Elise Mertens is one of the sleeper picks in the outright betting for the tournament, and she looked comfortable in the opening round, beating Viktoria Hruncakova in straight sets. But, we will be siding with Svitolina to cause one of the very big shocks at Wimbledon this year on Thursday, and we could see a deciding third set being required.
