Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will headline the card in Saudi Arabia, as two of the greatest light heavyweights of the era collide for the second time in five months. The increased pressure will be on Bivol in the rematch after suffering a first career defeat at the hands of Beterbiev in October.
Beterbiev was crowned the undisputed champion by majority decision after being ahead on two of the three judges’ scorecards. The close contest saw Beterbiev become the first fighter in the four-belt era to win the undisputed crown. He was also the fourth boxer to hold all the gold in one division at the same time following Lennox Lewis, Oleksandr Usyk, and Roy Jones Jr.

The victory for Beterbiev saw the fighter improve his professional record to 21-0. Over that period, a staggering 20 of his wins have come by way of knockout, with the only blemish coming in the fight against Bivol last year. It will be all about redemption for the challenger this weekend, as he looks to avenge his first career defeat on the grandest stage.
