Event Preview
The final stop on the PGA Tour before the start of the U.S. Open is set for Ontario this weekend, as the field competes over 7,389 yards in the RBC Canadian Open. This weekend’s event is the third-oldest on the PGA Tour, with only the U.S. Open and Open Championship being contested longer.
Tommy Fleetwood looks like an obvious starting point this weekend. The Englishman bounced back to form with an excellent T4 at last weekend’s Memorial Tournament, and the Englishman boasts an excellent record at this event, finishing in the top five in two of his last three appearances.
Wyndham Clark is another player that should be confident after an excellent showing last time out. The American finished third at the Memorial Tournament, and he looks a standout chance this weekend after looking refreshed following a midseason break last time out.
Sam Burns may not have won on the PGA Tour since 2023, but his return to form saw him take T4 last weekend. Burns was also beaten in a playoff at the RBC Canadian Open 12 months ago. At bigger prices, Alex Fitzpatrick could be a standout play after achieving top tens in the last three signature events.
RBC Canadian Open Picks
Kristoffer Reitan looks like a winner in waiting at the highest level this season. The Norwegian rookie is ranked 24th in OWGR, and his form in 2026 has been red-hot after winning, taking a T2 and finishing in the top 15 on five of his last seven starts.
