Prop Bets
Prediction:
Dalton Varsho is having a rough start to his season. Through 41 games, he’s hitting just .216 from the plate. Varsho has hit some big home runs when he makes contact, but his ability to put the bat on the ball has been very inconsistent. In the last week, he went just 2 for 24 (.083). Even against a struggling pitcher in Nestor Cortes, I’d feel pretty good about taking the under in hits here for Varsho, especially with plus odds.

Prediction:
Nestor Cortes has fallen far from repeating his dominance of last season, still working through some troubles in his game. He currently has a 5.53 ERA on the year, after giving up 6 runs in 4.1 innings to the Rays in his last start. Despite, Cortes’ struggles, he’s still picked up 6 or more strikeouts in 4 of his 8 starts this season. He only got 3 and 4 in the last two games, but I see him bouncing back with 6 Ks in this game.

Prediction:
Kevin Kiermaier is having another great season, hitting .327 with a .909 OPS thus far. Kiermaier’s consistency at the plate has made him a real weapon in Toronto’s batting lineup. He’s been scorching hot as of late. It his last 10 games, Kiermaier is 15 for 38 (.455) at the plate. While hits don’t always guarantee RBIs, it’s much more likely to happen when he’s hitting that well. Against a struggling Cortes, I like the over.
