Henry Cejudo is a real legend of combat sports. He’s an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling, who was a UFC champion in two weight classes until 2020 when he decided to retire.

It was a bad decision to retire in his prime, but not as bad as his decision to unretire three years later. In his comeback fight, he lost to Aljamain Sterling. It was a close fight, which is why it’s no surprise that Cejudo decided to give it another go.

A year later, he fought Merab Dvalishvili, but this time around, it wasn’t close. The Georgian fighter literally beat him up, as well as completely outwrestled the Olympian.

Now, at the age of 38, Cejudo is fighting what could be his final UFC fight. If he loses to Song, he’ll probably retire permanently. So, will he lose?

Cejudo vs. Song Prediction

In his prime, Cejudo would steamroll Song. However, in 2025, we think the opposite will happen. Song is 11 years younger than him and is in a much better state, both physically and mentally.

Sure, he did lose to Petr Yan in his most recent fight, but he didn’t get embarrassed. That’s something that’s giving him confidence he can get back to the winning track with a win over the former champ.
