In the previous Nuggets vs. Timberwolves game, the defending NBA champions were humiliated by the boys from Minneapolis. The final score was 115-70 for the Wolves, who managed to tie the series 3-3.
Scoring just 70 points is something that hadn’t previously happened to Denver in literally years. The poor scoring performance was particularly surprising given that the newly crowned 2024 NBA MVP Nikola Jokic had an okay game, scoring 22 points.

If the Nuggets want to stay in the race for another title, they need to up their game. This goes especially for Murray who needs to up his numbers ASAP.
