Game Preview
The Cavaliers aren’t stopping. The current leaders in the NBA Eastern Conference are 7-3 in the past ten events and look pretty good. Even Wednesday’s loss to the Houston Rockets in Texas, 109-108, can’t cast a shadow on the Cavaliers’ good form.
Darius Garland, who recently won the NBA Player of the Week award, missed two of his three free throws, allowing the Rockets to take this one. Cleveland is still 5.5 games ahead of the Celtics in the standings.
The 76ers’ seven losses in a row disturb all of their fans. However, that was logical, considering that this team has multiple injury problems. The biggest one is Joel Embiid’s, as the former NBA MVP has struggled to heal it for a long time.
Philadelphia’s defense has been falling apart recently. Over the previous five games, the lowest number of allowed points was 115. Against the Nuggets in Colorado, Philly conceded 144 buckets.
