Cowboys vs. Packers Odds
Game Preview
The Cowboys lost at home to the Buccaneers on the last Thursday Night Football, 24-16. It was a big upset for Dallas, and home fans made their disappointment clear after the game.
We’ve mentioned that the Cowboys have problems when it comes to running offense and defense. Their rushers average 81.6 yards per game, 30th in the NFL, while their defense allows 168.4 running yards, the most in the league.
The Packers’ O-line isn’t protecting QB Jordan Love at all. He’s already absorbed 30 this year, and a huge percentage came when he didn’t scramble. Now, given that the Packers practically have no run game, that’s normal, because Love has to do everything.
Green Bay averages the fewest rushing yards in the NFL, only 60.4 per game. There’s no news on starting RB Josh Jacobs, who is still out with no sign of returning. If this continues, the Packers will have to act and find a replacement, or the playoffs could be in jeopardy.
Cowboys vs. Packers Predictions
The Over/Under line is set at 52.5 points, and we pick Over here. Both teams are offense-oriented, with mediocre defenses, so we’re going with Over.
- Free NFL pick: Over 51.5 points.
