Saints vs. Giants Odds
Game Preview
Saints were held to only 142 yards from scrimmage against the Vikings, losing that game at home, 23-13. QB Tyler Shough, one of the league’s best passers until this game, threw for just 96 yards with two picks looking terrible.
We really have nothing good to say about the Saints defense, which happens to be one of the worst in the NFL. Right now, New Orleans allows 30.2 points per game, the second-most in the league. Brandon Staley will have to do better if he wants to keep his job as a defensive coordinator.
The Giants didn’t win, yet they didn’t lose either in Washington. The game against the Commanders ended in a 27-27 tie, keeping the NYG unbeaten in their 3rd straight appearance.
QB Jameis Winston threw for three TD passes and 326 yards without a pick. Malik Nabers caught one of them, and Isaiah Likely caught two. The Giants defense recorded 5 sacks in this game, up from three in the first 4 weeks combined.
Saints vs. Giants Predictions
Why bet on Over 45.5 points here? The Giants’ defense has flaws, while Winston is getting his groove back on offense. As for the Saints, their defense is terrible, but the offense is much better. Combine these two and the outcome is Over.
- Free NFL pick: Over 45.5 points
