Bills vs. Raiders Week 6 Odds
Game Preview
It was a back-and-forth contest in LA, but the Bills prevailed following an OT to win 37-34. Buffalo has the league’s No. 1 offense, averaging 32.8 points per game. And how wouldn’t it be, with Josh Allen at 1,249 passing and James Cook with 532 rushing yards so far?
Now, the Bills’ defense isn’t that good. In fact, it is pretty bad, allowing 28.2 ppg, which puts them at No.28 in the league. For now, the offense and special teams are covering for their flaws, but DC James Leonhard needs to do better.
The Raiders’ defense fell apart in the previous two games, allowing 75 points. From a 3-0 start, LVR fell to 3-2 solely because of a poor defensive approach.
New England blew the Raiders away at Gillette 45-17, exposing not just the defense, but the offense as well. Rookie RB Ashton Jeanty isn’t consistent, which hurts the entire offense. When he doesn’t show up, it’s much easier to press Kirk Cousins and disrupt his passing game.
Bills vs. Raiders Predictions
Buffalo is on a roll, and the Raiders, no matter their offensive potential and the home-field edge, won’t stop Allen and the boys. Simply, the Bills are way more powerful, and we expect their win here.
