Ravens vs. Colts Odds
Game Preview
Head coach Shane Steichen needs a statement season; otherwise, he is out of Indianapolis. He saved his job last year only because of the massive injuries the Colts suffered. They were 7-1 at one point before falling to 8-9.
QB Daniel Jones is back, and so is arguably the best running back in the NFL, Jonathan Taylor. Alec Pierce is the No.1 target now, after Michael Pittman Jr. got traded to the Steelers. Regarding the defense, it’s solid as usual, so the Colts have everything it takes to conquer the division.
It’s the start of a new era in Baltimore. Jon Harbaugh is out, and instead of him, Jesse Minter took over the wheel. Also, there is a new offensive coordinator, Declan Doyle from the Bears. A younger and more creative guy will now draw up the plays for the two-time NFL MVP, Lamar Jackson.
The Super Bowl window is slowly expiring for the Ravens, who have to push hard this year. Maybe even get aggressive in the market at the trade deadline. Yet for the moment, they are looking safe in the playoff battle.
Ravens vs. Colts Head to Head
Colts lead the series 11-7. The last meeting was in 2023, when the Colts beat the Ravens in Baltimore, 22-19 in overtime.
Ravens vs. Colts Predictions
It’s early for the Ravens’ defense to accept everything Minter has in mind for them. They will have one very dangerous offense across the field. Meanwhile, Baltimore’s offense is too much for the Colts. Together, these factors make the best bet over 48.5 points. Sure, it’s the first round, and the offenses are rusty, but the defenses aren’t in full swing as well.
