Team News

The Boston Bruins have been forced to wait to secure their spot in the next round of the playoffs. They come into game six having lost for the second time at TD Garden during this series, as the Panthers landed a 4-3 overtime success in game five. However, the Bruins could still land success in the series with a win in game six.

It could suit the Bruins to play on the road, as they have already picked up victories in both games played at FLA Live Arena during this series. Over those two games, they have scored ten goals and have allowed just four. Therefore, it’s unsurprising that they are the clear favorites in the betting.

The Florida Panthers remain in contention, but if they advance through to the next round, it would still be considered a huge shock. They come into this game after registering a victory in game five of the series, with a 4-3 win being recorded in overtime on Wednesday evening.

Carter Verhaeghe was extremely productive in that game, as he finished the night with three assists. Meanwhile, the goals in the game were scored by Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Bennett, Anthony Duclair, and Sam Reinhart. But, they are yet to register a win in this opening round series at FLA Live Arena.

Picks

The Bruins have been extremely professional on the road throughout this series, and we could see that trend being maintained on Friday evening. We expect the Bruins to finally overcome this opening round challenge and seal a 4-2 series win.
