Inter Milan enjoyed a memorable run to the Champions League final last season, and they will be among the clear favorites to make it out of Group D in the competition this term. However, they could face a fight for top spot in the standings, as they already sit two points behind RB Salzburg.
The pressure will be on Inter on matchday two, as they chase a first victory in the European competition this season. They were below their best in Spain in their opening match, and they were fortunate not to fall to defeat against Real Sociedad. Inter fell behind after four minutes, but their blushes were spared with three minutes remaining as Lautaro Martinez netted the equalizing goal with their only shot on target.

There is also likely to be pressure on Benfica this week, as the Portuguese giants look for another strong run in the competition. Last term, they reached the last eight, before they were eliminated by Inter Milan. But, Salzburg were very good value for maximum points, as they netted a goal in either half to pick up a memorable opening night win in Portugal.
