It was a rocky start to the Gold Cup for the defending champions, but they hit back in excellent style to land victory in their second match in Group A. The USA recorded a huge 6-0 win over Saint Kitts and Nevis, which means that victory on the final day would secure their passage through to the knockout round as group winners.
However, they may yet to need to win by a wide-scoring margin to secure that spot, as Jamaica conclude their campaign against Saint Kitts and Nevis. The USA currently has a three-goal swing in their favor. It was a strong performance in their recent fixture by Jesus Ferreira, as he netted a stunning hat-trick.

Trinidad & Tobago could yet secure their spot in the next round of the competition, as they sit third in the overall standings. However, they will need a victory to secure a place in the next round. They come into this final Group A clash after picking up one win, but a victory in the final round would put them into the next round at the expense of the USA.
Trinidad will need to bounce back to form on Sunday after they were easily beaten on Wednesday evening by Jamaica in St. Louis. They offered little in the final third of that fixture, and they were comprehensively beaten 4-1. Their only effort was netted early in the second half by Andre Rampersad.
