The pressure will be mounting on Man United, as the Red Devils look to secure their spot in next season’s Champions League. Match Preview

It could be a nervy end to the season for Man United, as they are yet to secure their spot in the Champions League places. The Red Devils missed a golden opportunity to move clear of Liverpool in midweek, as they were beaten by Brighton at the Amex. That defeat means that United are still yet to win away from home against any side located in the top nine of the Premier League standings.

United also has a poor record on the road in London recently, as they have won just one of their previous eight trips. Over that period, four defeats have been suffered. However, United have won seven of their last eight clashes with West Ham across all competitions, which includes two previous wins this term.

David Moyes will feel as though his West Ham side are just one more win away from securing their Premier League status this term. The Hammers currently sit four points above the drop zone, but they come into this clash having lost each of their last three in the Premier League. The most recent of those was a 3-0 loss away from home against Man City.

West Ham enjoyed a solid run against United before Moyes took over, winning two from three. However, since the former Red Devils boss has been in charge, the Hammers are winless from their previous six. West Ham has also lost their last two home matches against the Red Devils.

West Ham vs Man United Prediction

There will be pressure on United this Sunday, as they must bounce back from Thursday’s no-show against Brighton. We expect United to put in an improved performance this weekend, and we could see them landing a 2-0 win at the London Stadium.
