Game Preview
Even though soccer isn’t the primary US sport, the attention around the USMNT is incredible, and the head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, and the boys are under heavy pressure ahead of the tournament.
What amplifies that is the fact that the USA lost its previous two events pretty easily. Back in late March and early April, we saw them being smashed by Belgium, 2-5, and then Portugal, 0-2.
The Lions of Teranga are the African champions, even though some bureaucratic decisions erased their win in Morocco. This team has everything it takes to go deep into this tournament as well, and they are, according to our tipster Alex, one of the darkhorses.
Senegal has not lost in its last 10 games, winning 9 of them, including the final at the AFCON, which was later awarded to Morocco. Their latest two matches were against Peru, a 2-0 win, and against Gambia, a 3-1 triumph as well.

Overall, Senegal looks closer to winning in this case, despite the US having a home-field edge.
