It has been a sensational year on the WTA Tour for Marta Kostyuk, with the Ukrainian rising to a career-best ranking of 12th in the world. The 24-year-old would have been in good spirits before the start of the competition after reaching a first Grand Slam semi-final at the French Open.
However, her game has looked perfectly suited to grass courts this summer. She has raised her game as the tournament has progressed, winning each of her last two round matches without dropping a set. Kostyuk was dominant against Jasmine Paolini in the previous round, dropping just five games and winning 90% of the points on first serve.
Linda Noskova Form & Wimbledon Stats
Linda Noskova is one of two Czechia players still in the hunt for Grand Slam glory at Wimbledon. The 21-year-old has rapidly improved this season, achieving a career-best effort at a Slam. She currently sits in a career-best tenth in the world rankings, and her performances at the All England Club have been excellent to this point.
Noskova has knocked out seeded players in each of the last three rounds, beating Madison Keys and Elise Mertens in straight sets in the previous two. Her progression is eye-catching, but a career-best display will be needed on Centre Court this Thursday.
