What Does ‘Graded Bet’ Mean in Sports Betting?

A “Graded Bet” just means the bet is finished and officially settled.
After a game ends, the sportsbook “grades” your bet, which means they check the final score and mark your bet as one of three things:
- A Win: (The money is now in your account!)
- A Loss: (The bet is lost)
- A Push: (It was a tie, and your original stake has been refunded)
This is the opposite of a “Pending” or “Open” bet, which is a bet you’ve placed on a game that hasn’t happened yet.
So, when you check your bet history and see “Graded,” it just means the results are in and the transaction is complete.
