Event Preview

The Championship battle continues to heat up on the F1 schedule at the start of November, as the Sao Paulo Grand Prix forms a big points-scoring opportunity. Following the race in Brazil, only races in Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi remain on the 2025 calendar.

A momentum-swinging weekend in the championship battle in Mexico last time out went in the favor of Lando Norris, who’s dominant win now sees him hold a one-point advantage over teammate Oscar Piastri. It is the first time since the fifth round of the season that the British driver has sat at the top of the standings.

It was another miserable weekend for Oscar Piastri, as qualifying issues hindered him, before he was only able to finish fifth. Max Verstappen was also unable to take advantage after a couple of collisions with other drivers saw him running a lonely race until a final showdown with Charles Leclerc for second was cut short due to a safety car.

However, the Dutchman still sits within striking distance of the top spot in the standings. Confidence could also be gained from his dominant record in Brazil, as the track perfectly suits his Red Bull.

Ferrari enjoyed a positive weekend in Mexico, with Leclerc taking second and Hamilton eventually settling for eighth. Hamilton’s race was hampered after a penalty, despite starting the Grand Prix in third. But, it was a huge positive weekend in their battle for second in the Constructors’ Championship with Mercedes.

Sao Paulo Grand Prix Picks

A massive weekend in the championship battle is set for Brazil, and it is hard to ignore the success that Red Bull has achieved at Interlagos. Therefore, Verstappen could be a big chance to score wins in both the Sprint Race and Grand Prix.
