Event Preview
There will be a competitive feel to the Bank of Utah Championship this weekend, indicated by the prices of the market leaders in the betting. Maverick McNealy will be the top selection at the odds. The American was last in action finishing 13th at the Procore Championship.
Matt McCarty will be the defending champion coming into this weekend. The American landed his first PGA Tour success in Utah 12 months ago, and confidence can be gained from his recent performances after finishing in the top 25 on five of his last ten starts.
Michael Thorbjornsen is another player that is worth considering this weekend. He finished in an excellent T3 at the Baycurrent Classic last weekend, and his strong recent form has seen him finish in the top four on four occasions in the previous six months.
Rico Hoey looks like a PGA Tour-event winner in waiting. The star has been consistent throughout the campaign, finishing in the top ten on four occasions. He also has experience at Black Desert in the bank after finishing in a share of 21st 12 months ago.

A number of players will have leading chances this weekend. However, our preference is for Alex Noren. The Swede is a two-time winner on the DP World Tour, and he has continued his excellent form with two top ten finishes on the PGA Tour.
