Event Preview
One of the most historic events on the DP World Tour is set for this weekend, as The International hosts the KLM Open. This event is also known as the Dutch Open, and it has been staged annually since 1912. The field will compete across 6,914 yards at the stroke play event.
Connor Syme will be the defending champion coming into this weekend. The 30-year-old landed his first success on the DP World Tour 12 months ago, and he will likely relish conditions on his return to the Netherlands. However, a return to form will be required after he failed to make the cut at last weekend’s Austrian Open.
Many of the top selections in the betting will also be aiming to rediscover their best form. Angel Ayora has missed the cut on his last two appearances, and this weekend makes his return to action after missing the weekend at the PGA Championship last month.
Ewen Ferguson and Casey Jarvis should be respected this weekend. The latter failed to make the cut in Austria last weekend, but the South African has previously achieved respectable T22 and T38 finishes at the Soudal Open and Myrtle Beach Classic this year.
KLM Open Picks
At a big price, Guido Migliozzi could be worth following this weekend. The Italian won the KLM Open back in 2024, and has already shown a high level of form this season after finishing T2 at the Turkish Airlines Open.
