Prop Bets
Prediction:
Kevin Gausman has provided the Blue Jays with a crucial veteran presence this season. He currently holds a 6-3 record and a 3.01 ERA. That being said, he’s also been very inconsistent. In his 3 worst starts, he allowed 21 earned runs in just 12.2 IP, equivalent to a 14.92 ERA. In his other 12 starts, he allowed 10 earned runs in 80 IP, equal to a 1.13 ERA. Gausman has reached 10 or more Ks in 6 starts. I’d take the over.

Prediction:
After winning the NL’s CY Young award in 2022, Sandy Alcántara has seen some major regression this season. He’s managed to maintain his length, pitching 6 innings or more in 8 of 14 starts. Unfortunately, he’s given up far more runs, pitching to a 4.97 ERA on the season, and a 5.40 ERA since May 13. With all that being said, he still has the tools to be elite, and is due for a strong outing. I’d lean towards the under.

Prediction:
Luis Arraez is having a historic season for the Marlins, becoming a major part of a hot streak that has them sitting in a postseason spot. Miami has won 17 of their last 22 games, spurred on by Arraez’s incredible hitting ability. He’s had three separate 5-hit games this month, after going 5 for 5 on Monday against the Blue Jays. He has 30 total multi-hit games this season and is batting .400 on the year. I’m taking the over.
