Fight Preview
Both Storley and Ward are fantastic wrestlers who prefer finishing their opponents with striking. Storley is 14-2 overall with eight wins by KO/TKO, while the other six happened by decision. When it comes to his losses, both happened after the final bell. What’s even more interesting is that both happened against Yaroslav Amosov, who’s arguably the best welterweight outside the UFC.
Brennan Ward is 17-6 in his professional career, with an 8-3 record since moving to the Bellator Welterweight Division. Now a 38-year-old, Ward took a four and a half years long MMA hiatus from 2017 to 2022. He wanted to give a try to bare-knuckle boxing, but due to a dispute with the BKFC management, his plan never came to fruition.

As a result, he decided to move back to the MMA universe last year. And it was the right decision! He TKO-ed Brandon Bell on his comeback. Then, just four months later, he did the same to Kassius Kayne. Finally, in his most recent fight, Ward defeated Sabah Homasi by another TKO.
Storley vs. Ward Prediction
Logan Storley’s odds suggest he’s going to win the Bellator 298 main event, but we believe Brennan Ward to be the right man for the job of staging an upset. This guy’s been so good striking-wise since coming back to the world of mixed martial arts that we wouldn’t be surprised if he recorded a fourth TKO win in a row.
