Bryce Mitchell (16-2) is one of the best grapplers in the UFC. We’re not saying this without proof – 9 of his 16 career wins happened by submission.
He does have one loss by submission, but it happened against Ilia Topuria, who’s now the champ of the UFC Featherweight Division.
His second loss happened a year ago when we saw Josh Emmett put him to the ground with a brutal knockout. Honestly, it looked really scary, with Mitchell’s limbs twitching as he lay there on the floor.
It looked bad, but was it the kind of a career-ending KO? “Thug Nasty” will try and prove it wasn’t. One thing going in his favor is that his next opponent is known for being a horrible boxer.
Kron Gracie (5-2) looked really bad in his last two fights, both of which he lost by decision after his opponents – Cub Swanson and Charles Jourdain – literally beat him up.
