Gabriel Alves Braga is 11-0 in his professional career which started in 2018. Now a 25-year-old, the Brazilian is seen as the next big thing in the PFL. Sure, he’s a fantastic fighter with great striking ability, but he just isn’t as well-rounded as his next opponent.
Chris Wade is a much better wrestler/grappler than Braga, but the American’s biggest advantage is that he has way more experience. “The Long Island Killer” is 23-9 overall, with his debut happening almost 12 years ago.
During his career, Wade has fought not only in the PFL but also in the UFC. Needless to say, he’s faced much tougher opponents than Braga, with his most notable win being the one against Christos Giagos in 2015.
More recently, we saw Wade beat Bubba Jenkins in 2021, Kyle Bochniak in 2022, and Ryoji Kudo in 2023. Meanwhile, the most famous opponent Braga has defeated is Marlon Moraes, who was 0-6 before fighting him.
Gabriel Alves Braga vs. Chris Wade Prediction
Chris Wade looks like the kind of guy who could derail the Gabriel Alves Braga hype train. He’s got the skillset, power, and experience needed to get through to the 2023 PFL Final.
