The PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira (12-3-3) is locking horns with the heavyweight titleholder of Bellator MMA Ryan Bader (31-7-1) in the main event of PFL x Bellator: Champs.
The winner of this fight is expected to face legendary Francis Ngannou in his first MMA fight since leaving the UFC. We think that’s good enough motivation for both Ferreira and Bader to give all they’ve got in the February 24 fight.
Neither won’t lack any motivation at PFL x Bellator: Champs, but who’s got better skills? Ferreira is a fantastic striker, but that’s pretty much all he’s got. Meanwhile, Bader is a well-rounded fighter with plenty of experience.
While Ferreira’s biggest win happened in the PFL $1M fight against Denis Goltsov last year, Bader has fought (and defeated) many real MMA legends throughout his career, including Fedor Emelianenko and Lyoto Machida.

Ryan Bader has never fought such a big guy as Renan Ferreira. The Brazilian is 6’8, has a long reach, and is great at boxing. If he can prevent Bader from taking the fight to the ground, he definitely stands a very good chance of winning.
We think he could do it by simply landing more significant strikes than the Bellator MMA champ, which should be enough for the judges to score in his favor.
