Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Kara-France Preview
Pantoja walks into this one with seven wins in a row and a target on his back. But if pressure makes diamonds, he’s already shining. This guy has nothing but wins for more than five years, which is especially impressive given that he’s fought the who’s who of the UFC Flyweight Division – Brandon Royval, Brandon Moreno, Steve Erceg, Kai Asakura, etc.
“The Cannibal” is a complete fighter who averages close to three takedowns per fight and hits opponents 4.41 times a minute on average. He’s a great finisher with 8 wins by KO/TKO and 11 by submission.
This guy’s also practically impossible to finish – in his 34 pro MMA fights, he suffered zero losses by either KO/TKO or submission. But he needs to be careful on June 28 when he’s fighting against one of the best knockout artists in the division.

Kai Kara-France hits like a truck for a flyweight, throwing bombs at 4.56 significant strikes per minute. He’s 12-for-25 when it comes to knocking people out.
But when the grappling starts, that’s where things get messy. While his TD defense is 88% (third best in the history of the division), we did see him struggle against elite grapplers.
Pantoja vs. Kara-France Prediction
Kara-France always brings heat, but Pantoja’s seen this movie before. The champ’s pace, ground game, and experience should overwhelm the Kiwi over five rounds.
