UFC Perth Picks for All Fights on September 27
Our UFC Perth prediction is that the September 27 event will see plenty of knockouts. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if it broke the record set in the first UFC event of the month — nine KO/TKO wins in one evening.
But who’s gonna knock out who? If you want to see our UFC Perth main event pick, read our Ulberg vs. Reyes prediction post. If you’re looking for picks for all other fights, just keep on reading.
UFC Perth Main Card Picks
- Junior Tafa vs. İbo Aslan — Junior Tafa
- Jack Jenkins vs. Ramon Taveras — Jack Jenkins
- Jimmy Crute vs. Ivan Erslan — Jimmy Crute
- Jake Matthews vs. Neil Magny — Jake Matthews
- Tom Nolan vs. Charlie Campbell — Tom Nolan
Junior Tafa is our top UFC Perth underdog pick. His odds are +125, but we think he should’ve been the betting favorite against Aslan. Sure, he lost four of his last six fights, but now’s the time to get back on his feet. If you don’t trust him, maybe go for a prop bet? We’re almost 100% sure this fight will end in a KO/TKO.
We expect the same in the Jenkins vs. Taveras fight. Our pick there is Jenkins, who’s looking to bounce back after a loss by submission to Gabriel Santos last February.
We’re also backing Jimmy Crute, Jake Matthews, and Tom Nolan to win, although we’re not 100% sure they’ll knock their opponents out.
Picks for UFC Perth Preliminaries
- Justin Tafa vs. Louie Sutherland — Justin Tafa
- Navajo Stirling vs. Rodolfo Bellato — Navajo Stirling
- Loma Lookboonmee vs. Alexia Thainara — Alexia Thainara
- Jonathan Micallef vs. Oban Elliott — Oban Elliott
- Cameron Rowston vs. Andre Petroski — Andre Petroski
- Colby Thicknesse vs. Josias Musasa — Colby Thicknesse
- Jamie Mullarkey vs. Rolando Bedoya — Jamie Mullarkey
- Michelle Montague vs. Luana Carolina — Michelle Montague
- Brando Peričić vs. Elisha Ellison — Elisha Ellison
Junior Tafa’s brother Justin should get a KO win on September 27. He’s 7-5-1 overall with 7 wins by KO/TKO. So, if he’s going to win, he’ll win by this method.
Navajo Stirling should also get a win. He’s 7-0 and is looking to get himself into the Top 15 of the UFC Light Heavyweight Division. To get there, he needs a spectacular KO win.
Oban Elliot could also get a KO win in Perth, and the same goes for Andre Petroski and Jamie Mullarkey.
We could also see finishes in the two WMMA fights of UFC Perth. Our prediction is that Michelle Montague and Alexia Thainara will both get submission wins.
