Undefeated Korean fighter Hyun Sung Park stepped in to save the day, but bookies think it’s a bad idea. Based on the UFC Vegas 108 odds, he’ll likely suffer his first-ever defeat.

Tatsuro Taira vs. Park Hyun-Sung Fight Preview
Tatsuro Taira sits at 16-1 and also lost his last fight by decision, a razor-close split against Brandon Royval. He did get beaten up by Royval, but that fight earned Fight of the Night honors, and Taira’s wrestling was top class – he landed a career-best six takedowns.
His striking volume is low, but his shots carry more power. On the bright side for the Japanese fighter, he doesn’t absorb much damage, which could be crucial in a five-rounder.
That said, Taira needs to be careful not to get finished. He was preparing for a grind with Albazi, who’s a great wrestler with a fantastic gas tank. Taira’s new UFC Vegas 108 opponent – Hyun Sung Park – is a different kind of beast.
The Korean is 10-0 with nine finishes in a row. Five of those were by submission and four by decision.

Hyun Sung Park’s portfolio looks good, but Tatsuro Taira is on a different level. The Japanese fighter is better than him in practically all aspects of fighting. Plus, the Korean has never fought a 5-rounder.
That said, we don’t think the UFC Vegas 108 headliner will drag on for too long. Taira will tire Park out and finish him with kicks and punches, probably within the first couple of rounds.
