Roman Dolidze vs. Anthony Hernandez Odds
Dolidze vs. Hernandez Fight Preview
Dolidze (15-3) is 6’3 and deceptively quick for his frame. He’s got KO power and sneaky grappling skills, even if his 33% takedown defense doesn’t show it.
He’s never been finished, even though he’s faced some real nasty finishers over the years. In his last outing, he fought a five-round war with Marvin Vettori, where he absorbed 111 strikes, but still outlanded him by 30 significant shots.
The Georgian’s recent resume includes stoppages over Kevin Holland and dominant moments against Anthony Smith. In the fight with Smith, he was a narrow favorite, while against Holland and Vettori, he was the betting underdog. Fast-forward to August 9, and he’s the betting underdog once again.
Hernandez (14-2-1) enters as a heavy -330 favorite, and it’s not hard to see why. He’s won seven fights straight, including big names like Brendan Allen and Michel Pereira.
Fluffy averages 4.50 significant strikes per minute and absorbs just 2.61, which makes him the third most efficient striker in the UFC Middleweight division. He also has eight submission wins, making him dangerous everywhere.
Dolidze vs. Hernandez Prediction
Dolidze is tough, experienced, and dangerous, but Hernandez looks more complete at this stage. He’s got cleaner striking, better volume, and a much deeper gas tank than people realize.
If he keeps the pressure on, mixes in his grappling, and avoids any big shots, he should win this. But we honestly doubt he can do it before the end of the full 25 minutes. No one’s ever finished Dolidze, and Hernandez won’t either.
