Event Preview

The Bank of America Roval 400 forms the final leg of the round of 12 in the NASCAR playoffs, and the pressure will be increasing on the drivers with just four races remaining.

This weekend’s race has been on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule since 2018, and the field will compete across 252.902 miles at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday. Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson hold the joint records in the race, with both drivers winning on two occasions.

The latter will be a very prominent selection this weekend. Larson has finished in the top ten in the last two rounds, and that has enabled him to open up an advantage at the Drivers’ Championship summit. However, Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell finished second and third, respectively, in last weekend’s Hollywood Casino 400.

Shane Van Gisbergen has been the standout driver in road races throughout this season, including most recently when landing the Go Bowling at the Glen. Based on that dominance, he will be a short price favorite this Sunday.

Bank of America Roval 400 Picks

Plenty will have leading chances this weekend, but the value could be for Chase Elliott. The driver was an excellent winner of the Hollywood Casino 400 last weekend, and he has an excellent record in this race after winning on two previous occasions.
