Event Preview

The Cracker Barrel 400 forms the 14th race of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, with drivers aiming to build momentum ahead of the start of the In-Season Challenge, which gets underway at the end of June. This weekend’s race covers 400 miles at the Nashville Superspeedway, with the drivers completing a total of 300 laps.

Daniel Suarez should bring excellent confidence into the weekend after winning the recent Coca-Cola 600. That win may have been a shock based on the odds, but the driver has finished in the top 20 in each of the last nine rounds.

Tyler Reddick continues to lead the Drivers’ Championship standings after finishing in the top five in the last three rounds. Reddick will be looking to add to his five race wins in 2026 on Sunday. Denny Hamlin sits second in the Drivers’ Championship after finishing in the top three in two of the last three races.

Chase Elliott will be one of a number of drivers aiming to bounce back to form this weekend after failing to finish in the top 20 in the last two rounds. Meanwhile, Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell will be hoping to build on strong performances last weekend, finishing 5th and 2nd, respectively, in the Coca-Cola 600.

Cracker Barrel 400 Picks

Another wide-open race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule sees plenty of drivers have excellent chances. William Byron has been quietly going under the radar this season, finishing in the top ten in seven of the last ten races. This weekend, he could gain a first win of 2026.
