Event Preview
The pressure will once again be on the drivers on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule this weekend, as the final race in the round of 12 of the playoffs takes place in North Carolina. The Bank of America Roval 400 has been staged annually since 2018, with the field completing 109 laps of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. Drivers will complete 25 laps in each of the two opening stages, before the final 59 laps are contested in the final stage.
Chase Elliott will head the betting for the race this weekend, as he is the only two-time winner of the race. However, Christopher Bell comes into the weekend as the defending champion, with Kyle Larson landing success in 20221. Hendrick Motorsports has been the dominant team in the race, having won three of the last four editions.

Elliott is the favorite to win the race this weekend, but the former world champion has already been eliminated from contention to win the Cup Series this term. Therefore, there will likely be more pressure on the drivers positioned between eighth and 12th in the current standings, as they look to keep their dreams alive.
Among those is Kyle Busch, who is on the brink of elimination after finishing outside the top ten in four of the five playoff races. Ross Chastain could be the pick of the drivers near the cut-off point, as the driver has finished in the top five in two of his previous five races. However, a response will be needed after he finished back in 37th in the YellaWood 500 last Sunday.
Bank of America Roval 400 Prediction
I am keen to take on the top selections in the betting this weekend, as there is little value. Therefore, a chance will be taken on Christopher Bell. He has been driving well throughout the playoffs, and his experience in this race could be key.
