Pacers vs. Hawks

How to Watch

  • When: Friday, January 12, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Where: State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia
  • Channel: NBA League Pass

Prop Pick

The Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks are in the top 3 worst NBA teams when it comes to defense. The Pacers are conceding 123.8 points per game on average, while the Hawks are allowing 124.0.

It wasn’t always like that for Atlanta. In fact, the Hawks’ defensive performances dipped significantly since the start of 2024. For example, their defensive average in their last three games is 133.0. The reason for that is that they had a very rough schedule, playing against some really high-scoring opponents.

One of those is Indiana, which scored 150 points in their previous duel. What’s interesting about that game is that center Myles Turner was the only Indiana player who scored 20+ points (he scored 27 points).

This time, we suspect some of his teammates will get over that number as well. Bruce Brown might do it, even though oddsmakers don’t have much faith in him. They’ve set his points margin at 13.5, which we think he’s gonna go over easily.

Warriors vs. Bulls

How to Watch

  • When: Friday, January 12, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Where: United Center, Chicago, Illinois
  • Channel: NBA League Pass

Prop Pick

Fans booed the Golden State Warriors after a second straight blowout loss at home. The New Orleans Pelicans demolished them 141-105 two nights ago, which came just 48 hours after the Toronto Raptors beat them 133-118.

Golden State’s legend Steph Curry was horrible in both of those games, scoring just 24 points in total. He was just horrible from the three-point line, going 3-for-8 against New Orleans, while in the game against Toronto, he missed all of his eight attempts for three points.

Curry’s bad run needs to end ASAP. We think it might even happen tonight when his team is playing against the Bulls in Chicago. Our prediction is that he’s going to score at least four 3-pointers at United Center.
