Game Preview

The Raptors rolled over the Hawks in Atlanta, beating them 138-118. The noise about Trae’s contract and failed talks still resonates in Georgia, and the atmosphere isn’t great at all.

Defense was terrible, and the players looked awful in that aspect of play. The Raptors had 54 boards, while the Hawks had 20 fewer. Young scored 22 points, the same as Jalen Johnson, while Risacher had 16 and two miserable boards. Porzingis added 20 buckets on his debut.

Magic was better than the Heat in their Florida clash, 125-121. It was a tense game in which Orlando won in the final period, with the trio of Bane, Wagner, and Banchero leading the way. The newcomer from Memphis had 23 points, while Wagner and Banchero each posted 24.

The former No.1 pick, Banchero, added 11 boards to that, while Wagner had 6 assists. Tristan da Silva entered off the bench to score 16 points in 18 minutes and was an X-factor here.

Hawks vs. Magic Head to Head

After 4 games last year, the result in the season series was tied at 2-2. Both teams had a win on the road and at home.

Hawks vs. Magic Predictions

The Atlanta Hawks didn’t start the season well, and for the moment, they don’t look ready to compete with the top teams in the conference. That’s why we bet on the Magic, who are better and also have a home-court advantage.
