Nuggets vs. Warriors Odds
Game Preview
Denver Nuggets made some bold changes during the summer. They traded Michael Porter Jr. to make space in the cap, and landed Jonas Valanciunas and Cameron Johnson, with Bruce Brown as well.
This should deepen their roster, which evidently lacked some depth in the playoffs. Jokic will carry this team, that’s for sure, and the main enigma is Jamal Murray, who didn’t meet the expectations last year despite his stats.
Golden State Warriors met the Lakers in the opener, winning 119-109, in LA. Jimmy Butler III had 31 points and made all of his 16 free throws, which is impressive. Meanwhile, Steph Curry added 23, with three steals. He was 8-for-8 from the foul line.
Jonathan Kuminga was an X-factor. The strong forward scored 17 points, but had 9 boards and 6 assists. If he continues to play like this, the Warriors have realistic chances of reaching the title. Also, we have to note Buddy Hield’s 17 points off the bench.
Nuggets vs. Warriors Head to Head
There were 3 meetings between these teams in the previous year, and the Nuggets won twice, while GSW posted one triumph.
Nuggets vs. Warriors Predictions
The Denver Nuggets have had the edge over the Warriors in the past few years, winning many more games than their upcoming rivals. Still, this is the new season, and given the fact that the over/under line is 232.5 points, we will go with under. The Warriors have a much more defensive-minded team than before, and the Nuggets as well (Valanciunas and Brown), so we will go with under.
