Game Preview

The Pacers were down 17 points in the final period but managed to force overtime with a furious finish and then once again showed their resilience to clinch a triumph in the additional five minutes.

Aaron Nesmith was incredible with 30 points, hitting 8 of his 9 threes and initiating the comeback in the end. Tyrese Haliburton scored 31 with 11 assists, Pacers had just 7 turnovers during the whole game, while Knicks ended with 15.

New York’s finishing was terrible, and in the moments when they needed to show tough defense, long-range hits killed them. Also, the bench didn’t show up, scoring only 17 of 135 points.

Brunson scored 43 points and had seven turnovers, while Karl-Anthony Towns had 35 and 12 boards. Josh Hart would end with 8 points, 13 boards, and 7 assists. The Knicks have to be better from the foul line, 28-for-40.

Pacers vs. Knicks Head to Head

The Knicks won two of three games during the regular season, one of which was in Indianapolis. As stated earlier, the Pacers won in NY in Game 1 of the ECF.

Pacers vs. Knicks Game 2 Predictions

Indiana will be relaxed in Game 2, and we can expect them to be in an excellent offensive mood after a performance like Game 1. Still, the over/under line is set at 227.5 points, which is a bit too high because the Knicks have to go out much more aggressively on the defensive side of the ball. That’s why we go with Under here. They are with their backs against the wall, and with the home court, the officiating criteria might lean toward their side.
