Game Preview
The Clippers were on the brink of a 22-point comeback, but instead of going to the overtime, they lost. Ivica Zubac defended Jokic well, but Aaron Gordon flew from nowhere to seal the deal for the Nuggets.
Kawhi Leonard scored 24 points with nine boards, while Norman Powell added 22. James Harden had 15 and 11 assists, and it seems that Christian Braun’s tough defense and provocations did their part in slowing down the Beard.
Aaron Gordon ended the night with 14 buckets, six boards and five assists. He was 43 minutes on the floor. Meanwhile, Jokic was unstoppable, scoring 36 points and grabbing 21 rebounds with eight assists. The Joker was all over the place.
