Game Preview
The Timberwolves allowed 54 points in the last quarter and a half to lose the first game of the Conference Finals. They nearly lost Anthony Edwards, too, due to an early injury, but he came back to finish the game with 18 points and 9 boards.
Julius Randle had 28 points and 8 boards, but the Timberwolves’ bench was terrible. Naz Reid, Donte DiVincenzo, and Nickell Alexander-Walker combined for 21 points, shooting 7-for-36 from the field.
On the other hand, OKC was very rational when it came to shooting: 41-for-82 from the field and 11-for-21 for three. Shai scored 31 points, going to the line 14 times and getting some pretty ridiculous calls. It seems that the officials will still reward his foul-bating moves.
SGA also posted nine assists and five boards. Jalen Williams scored 19 points, had 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals playing hard defense. The Thunder had 13 steals compared to just five that the guests had.

We are going with UNDER 213.5 points in this one. If Game 1 was below that line, Game 2 has a high chance of ending like that as well. Why? The Timberwolves’ defense fell apart in the last 12 minutes, allowing 38 points. They can’t be much worse than that, plus this game will have high stakes, meaning that they have to be better on the defensive side. OKC’s defense is excellent, and there’s not much to add about that.
