NBA Finals Game 2 Odds
Game 2 Preview
Jalen Brunson was kicked and injured, but he finished the game with 30 points, 19 of which came in the second half. He showed why many believe he might be the best point guard in the NBA right now.
The Knicks ended Game 1 with an 11-0 run, holding the Spurs to just 19 points in the final period and closing the event with a 105-95 triumph. Karl-Anthony Towns had 18 points and 12 boards, while Josh Hart grabbed 15 rebounds. OG Anunoby scored 17 buckets.
The Spurs were up by 14 points in the third period. Why they stopped later, we don’t know. Maybe it was fatigue, maybe it was inexperience. Wembanyama had 26 points but was 6-for-21 from the field and committed 6 turnovers.
San Antonio was 11-for-43 from deep, and its starting backcourt was terrible, 2-for-15 (Fox, Castle, Vassell). De’Aaron Fox was below his standards as well, with just 7 points and 3-for-13 from the field.
Before Betting
- The Knicks had only 8 turnovers in Game 1.
- Brunson took 31 shots.
- Harrison Barnes didn’t score in Game 1.
- Spurs’ bench scored 20 points, of which Harper had 16.
Knicks vs. Spurs Game 2 Predictions
This one is going under. The Finals will be about defense, and the Knicks know that. After Game 1, the Spurs learned that as well. The guests from the Big Apple won’t back down and will continue with a physical approach, which will lower the number of points. Spurs have to react and respond to that.
