Game Preview
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a very rough night at Mile High. He scored just 18 points while shooting 7-for-22 from the field and 1-for-6 for three. He did grab 13 boards and add 7 assists, but that wasn’t enough for his OKC to win.
Jalen Williams scored 32 points, Chet Holmgren scored 18 and added 16 boards, while the entire OKC bench contributed with 23 points. OKC made only 9 threes in 35 attempts.
Jokic also had a slow night, missing 17 of his 25 shots from the field. Eventually, the best player in the league would end the night with 20 points, 16 boards and 6 assists, though with 8 turnovers and 10 threes missed.
