Game Preview
The Thunder finally repulsed Indiana’s push in the fourth period, winning Game 5 120-109. This game was all about Jalen Williams, who had 40 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. And he committed just one turnover. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 but added 10 assists, hitting 13 of his 14 free throws.
OKC had 19 offensive rebounds, and that was the main reason why they maintained offensive pressure on the Pacers throughout the entire game. Also, the Thunder hit 14 threes in 32 attempts, having one of their best shooting nights of the series.
Tyrese Haliburton was frozen in OKC, having only 4 points and not scoring a basket from the play throughout his 34 minutes on the floor. It is the primary reason why his team lost at the Paycom Center.
