Game Preview
The Sooners (20-15) won for the seventh time in nine games, taking down Colorado in an overtime thriller to begin the Crown. They got 16-plus points from four players in posting their third straight 20-win season. Nijel Pack scored a team-high 20 points, his sixth 20-point effort in the last eight contests, while Tae Davis netted 19, Xzayvier Brown 17 and Kuol Atak 16. Jadon Jones led the way with three rejections while Pack and Mohamed Wague had two each. Wague added seven points, a team-high eight rebounds, two assists and a game-high three steals.
The Bears (17-16) find a way to extend their season for at least one more game, dispatching Minnesota in a convincing blowout in the quarterfinals. Three Bears led the charge with 15-plus points: Tounde Yessoufou with 19 points, Obi Agbim with 17 points and Cameron Carr with 15 points. Agbim found his stride from beyond the arc, going 5-for-8 from deep. The fifth-year senior out-shot the entirety of the Minnesota roster from three, with the Golden Gophers going only 3-for-23.
