Game Preview
The Mountaineers (19-14) rallied from eight points down with 3:21 left in regulation, and then outscored Stanford 14-9 in the extra session to win over Stanford and advance to the semifinals. Honor Huff led West Virginia with 21 points, Treysen Eaglestaff contributed 18 and Brenen Lorient finished with 14 points and seven rebounds. West Virginia fended off a 34-point performance from potential NBA prospect Ebuka Okorie, who gave Stanford a chance throughout the night.
The Blue Jays (16-17) punched their ticket to the Crown semifinals after taking down Rutgers on April 2. Nik Graves had 25 points in the second half to lead Creighton to a solid quarterfinal victory.
