The Quakers (17-11, 9-5 Ivy) have done well in the regular season to get a bye to the semifinals of the Ivy League Tournament, surviving Harvard in overtime to reach the title game. TJ Power lifted Penn in the first half, with 13 points, and grabbed eight second-half rebounds on the way to a 16-point, 12-rebound performance as he led all players in both categories.
The Bulldogs (24-5, 11-3 Ivy) seek their return to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Ivy League’s regular-season title this year. They got past Cornell in the semifinals to advance to the conference championship game. Isaac Celiscar delivered a sensational performance, finishing with a career-high 27 points on 12-of-16 shooting while adding six rebounds, three assists and three blocks. Meanwhile, Trevor Mullin turned in a strong outing with 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including three three-pointers.
